Dr. Michael H. McGuire

Dr. Michael H. McGuire, Orthopedic Surgeon and former Professor of Surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine, joined Columbus Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic, P.C. in 2011.

An Iowa native, Dr. McGuire received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Creighton University in Omaha. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from St. Louis University Medical School and an American Cancer Society Clinical fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

Dr. McGuire is a member of several medical societies, including the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Nebraska Beta Chapter.

Prior to his academic position at Creighton, Dr. McGuire held academic positions at Harvard Medical School and St. Louis University. He is a published author in both medical journals and text books and has been a guest speaker at numerous medical symposiums and conferences.

Dr. McGuire practices orthopedic surgery with emphasis in Trauma and Tumors of the Muscular Skeletal System.
